I got into dog boarding because the person who we used to use to board our dogs when we wanted to go out of town and couldn’t take our dogs, closed and we weren’t sure what our options were. We discovered DogVacay.com and decided to give them a try. What is nice about DogVacay.com is that our dogs got to stay with people and weren’t locked up in a cage. Our dog enjoys being around other dogs and Sierra is always ready to play, so DogVacay was a good fit. Michaelle mentioned to me one day that we should look into becoming a DogVacay host since we work from home and it would be a great service to offer in our area. This was how Wiggle Butt Sitters was started.
Wiggle Butt Sitters has been in business since 2014 and we have watched dogs from all over Washington and even clients from out-of-state that was passing through to go to a concert at the Gorge. We have watched everything from a German Shepard/Husky mix that was over 100lbs that made our boxer look small to dogs so small that we had to carry around because they couldn’t even get through the puppy door.
Dogvacay recently merged with Rover.com so Wiggle Butt Sitters offers their Rover.com exclusively. Rover.com offers conceirge services to answer questions and screen all their hosts who sign up through them. On the Rover.com website you can see photos of our home and our large fenced in yard where your dog will be able to run around and play. There is also raving reviews from our happy clients and photos of dogs enjoying their placation. We keep in touch with you while you’re gone by sending photos of your dog, a nice perk to put you at ease while you’re away.
I look forward to answering any questions that you may have and we can do a Meet & Greet so that you can meet our dog and see if we are a good fit for you and your furbaby. Please click on our contact page to ask us questions and I look forward to meeting you and your dogs. If you want to make a reservation or book a Meet & Greet go to Rover.com and we’ll be in touch!
